Spy Video TRAKR (also called TRAKR) is the first app-powered video RC vehicle.
The capabilities of the TRAKR are as vast as YOUR imagination. Below are just a few of the TRAKR's many features. Depending on which apps you have loaded on your TRAKR, it can:
An app (or application) is a computer program that makes your TRAKR perform tricks or complete a task. The TRAKR comes with three apps: Cyborg Vision, Night Vision and Path Mapper. Night Vision makes your TRAKR see in the dark. Cyborg Vision adds a speedometer and spy compass to your TRAKR, and Path Mapper lets your TRAKR memorize a path and drive it independently with the push of a button. The TRAKR can hold three apps at a time (more if an SD card is inserted). Visit the Apps Database now.
Spygear.net (spytrakr.com) is where you download, build and share free apps for your TRAKR. This collection of apps is called the Apps Database. Do you have an awesome idea for an app but don't see it in the Apps Database? Then build it! Upload it to the Apps Database and share it with your fellow spies.
TRAKR apps are written in C programming language. Write your app using the code editor or text editor of your choice (such as Notepad for Windows or TextEdit for Mac). ZIP it up along with any associated files required to run your app (including .bin and audio files). Upload the zipped files to Spy Gear HQ. We'll review and compile the app, then post it to the Apps Database so others can download it.

The App BUILDR is a tool on spytrakr.com that allows you to ‘look under the hood’ of an app. The interface of the App BUILDR lets you change the source code of an existing app and instantly see how that change would affect the behavior of your TRAKR.

TRAKR uses 10 AA (LR06) batteries: 6 for the TRAKR and 2 for the remote control.
Yes, but there is a chance that the radio signal from one TRAKR can interfere with the signal of the other TRAKR. If you are not getting a clear signal, try switching to manual frequency (find out more about manual frequency when you Download TRAKR Instructions)
Because of FCC regulations which limit how we manufacture remote control devices, in rare occasions your TRAKR may cause interference in other electronic items such as cordless phones or wireless computer networks. This is normal and will not damage these devices. If this does happen to you, we recommend two options; change your wireless router to a lower channel (Please consult you router manual for more details.) or play with your TRAKR in another location.
The TRAKR has a high quality, ultra-sensitive microphone that is prone to interference when it is too close to the remote control speaker. You can stop this noise three ways: Move the TRAKR farther away from the remote control, lower the volume by moving On/off switch 2 (on the remote control) to the center position, or press Button B to silence the speaker (this last method only works if you are using the TRAKR in Normal Mode).
The camera is operated MANUALLY (using your finger) up and down only.
A (full size) SD card must be installed to operate the Picture Taker and Video Recorder Apps. Once the card is installed these Apps will appear in the App menu on the remote.
To ensure sound is being recorded during use of the Video Recorder App, it must FIRST be turned on (with the 'B' button) prior to selecting the Video Recorder.
